Description/Notes:

The songs on Citizen were recorded in 1979 for Radio 101 ( a 30 minute radio program which never achieved syndication) and was briefly released in 1980 as a vinyl LP. It contains 9 experimental songs recorded for various reasons. Some songs, such as Joyride and EKG, were written to show effects are more important than key change. Neanderthal Nightmare is a tonal montage that attempts to show the power of nightmarish dreams were just as important to primitive man as they are today. Arcade and Robot Love use natural sounds as percussion or color instruments. This CD contains many of the skits from the first Radio 101 program and features the introduction of the character “Hank Rotten Jr.” which later developed into the biker comedy duo of Ross and Rotten.
